There had been a school in Lambston since at least 1715 when to costs of schooling were paid by the Rev. John Pember of Haverfordwest. In 1879 a new school was commissioned and built in Sutton. The school was owned, managed and inspected by a committee of people from the parish. They employed a teacher and later, an assistant.
These two PDFs are posters about the school from the 2017 Lambston Parish History Exhibition.
