This website is under construction and some pages are included simply to give a structure to the site. This is one of them.
My initial interest in this work was to look at how the physical landscape of the parish developed in time. Of course, in researching that topic I come up with lots of interesting material about and from the people who lived and live here. You cannot understand the place without understanding at least something of the people.
This section will try and deal with at least some of that material – it may take some time.
